Terms of Use
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern your use of CleanUp: Phone Cleaner ("CleanUp"), an Android utility provided by Tripleace (package: com.tripleace.phonecleaner). By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using and uninstall it.
You must have legal capacity to accept these Terms. Minors should use the app with a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision. CleanUp is not directed to children.
2. Features and limits
CleanUp helps review similar or blurry photos, screenshots and large media; swipe through photos; compress selected photos or videos; review installed apps and optional usage information; and find or merge duplicate contacts. Some functions require permissions you choose to grant.
Results depend on accessible files, Android version, device capabilities, manufacturer restrictions and permissions. Scan results can arrive progressively. Similarity, blur and “best photo” labels are suggestions, not guarantees. Usage labels describe the available observation period, not a complete lifetime history. App size estimates may exclude private data and caches.
Compression can change quality, resolution, format, metadata or compatibility, and may not reduce every file. Unsupported files or device restrictions can prevent processing. Estimated savings may differ from final savings. Review output copies before deciding to remove originals.
3. Cleanup, uninstall and contact changes
You are responsible for reviewing selections and confirmations before making changes. Keep independent backups of important photos, videos and contacts. Automated selections and recommendations may include items you want to keep.
Media cleanup requests use Android’s supported trash confirmation. Recovery and retention are controlled by your operating system and media provider and are not guaranteed by CleanUp. Compression may request removal of originals if you enable that option. Deleting local media can also affect cloud-synced libraries depending on your provider.
App uninstallation requires Android confirmation and can remove that app’s data. A multiple-app selection initiates sequential system confirmations; cancellation may stop the remaining requests but does not undo completed uninstalls. Contact merging changes how contacts are aggregated and may sync through your contacts account. CleanUp does not guarantee an undo for completed changes.
4. License and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use CleanUp for lawful personal use. The app, branding and original content belong to their respective owners. You retain your rights in your own files and contacts.
Use only content and devices you are authorized to manage. Do not use the app unlawfully, interfere with its operation, or distribute unauthorized copies. Any reverse-engineering restriction applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
5. Advertising and purchases
The current release has no advertising, Pro purchase offers, or active subscriptions. Google Play Billing Library 8.3.0 and its Android permission are included for future product preparation only. No billing connection or purchase flow is started; this does not create a charge, subscription, or paid entitlement.
If paid features or advertising are introduced later, the app and these documents will describe them before they apply. Purchase screens and store checkout will state the relevant benefits, price, billing period and any trial conditions. No future paid benefit is promised by these Terms.
6. Privacy and third-party services
Information handling and permission choices are described in the Privacy Policy. CleanUp uses Android services and Google ML Kit; these providers and any external websites have their own terms and policies. You can decline or revoke permissions, with limits to related functions.
7. Availability and changes
We may update features, compatibility and these Terms. Updates will be reflected in the date on this page, with additional notice where required. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or support for every device or file format.
You may stop using and uninstall CleanUp at any time. We may restrict services for misuse or legal reasons, subject to applicable law.
8. Responsibility and applicable rights
To the extent permitted by law, CleanUp is supplied as available without a guarantee of error-free operation, accurate classification, particular storage savings, or recovery of deleted information. We do not control Android, other apps, device providers or third-party sync services.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. Disputes are subject to applicable law and mandatory jurisdiction rights available to consumers in their place of residence.
